Arve Martin Hyldmo Bjørnvik has extensive litigation and arbitration experience.
He is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court and he has been both a District Court and an Appeal Court judge. He has litigated a large number of cases both for the ordinary courts and for domestic and international arbitration tribunals.
Arve Martin works especially with contract law, land-based construction law and offshore fabrication projects and disputes. He has extensive experience from representing both Norwegian and international parties in construction and offshore cases.
In recent years he has been leading several of Haavind’s largest and most important cases and projects. He is regularly used as arbitrator, preferably in various types of contract disputes.
Bjørnvik assists in all stages of a dispute – from the early case assessments and claim letters to settlement negotiations and proceedings before courts and arbitral tribunals. He has in addition broad experience from advising on contract drafting and negotiations, and project assistance during executions phase.
Arve Martin is ranked within construction law by all the international ranking agencies, and he is also up and coming in the Financial Daily`s annual law survey.
He is network leader in JUC’s network for construction law and is regularly used as speaker in various settings.
