Together with Carnegie, Haavind has assisted Hurtigruten with the sale of their properties in Svalbard, including the hotels Funken Lodge, Radisson Blu Polar Hotel Spitsbergen and Coal Miners’ Cabins.

The buyer is the cornerstone company Store Norske. The properties will be leased back to Hurtigruten Svalbard.

The parties have also entered into a long-term agreement on the development of tourism in Svalbard.
