Nikolai Fjågesund is a Senior Associate in Haavind’s Construction and Infrastructure team, specialising in construction law and dispute resolution.
Nikolai advises clients in the construction and infrastructure industry throughout the entire project lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating contracts to providing support during the execution phase and handling final settlements. He has particular experience with claims for additional remuneration and extensions of time, project-specific risk and opportunity assessments, guarantee claims, and other contractual matters.
Nikolai has extensive experience with various forms of construction contracts, including collaborative contracting models, as well as consultancy and design contracts based, among others, on NS 8401 and NS 8402. He regularly assists clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. In addition, he lectures on construction law topics, contributes professional updates on case law, and serves on the steering committee of Ungt Entrepriseforum.
