Kasper specialises in financial services and regulatory law and primarily assists Norwegian and foreign investment firms, management companies, credit institutions, payment institutions, insurance undertakings and other institutions that operates in the financial market. 

He has extensive experience helping clients with establishments and authorisations, operating conditions, ongoing compliance and governance matters, risk management, and other legal and regulatory situations. 

Kasper has particular expertise in advising on the implementation of EU regulatory reforms, including MiFID II, AIFMD, CRD IV, Solvency II and PSD II, and he enjoys working in partnership with his clients to help them navigate a complex regulatory environment to support their business objectives. 

His qualifications encompass assistance with listing on regulated markets, private placements, rights issues, and public takeovers, as well as guidance on compliance with the prospectus regulation and the market abuse regulation. 

Kasper is a part of Haavind’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team, where he offers strategic, practical and commercially focused advice to clients on EU’s Sustainable Finance regulations. 

He is also chairman of the board of financial institutions.
