New partners in Haavind
Haavind strengthens the team with two new partners within the business area offshore, industry and aquaculture and one new partner within Corporate M&A.
From January 2024, Haavind’s group of partners will include Silje Bakkevig Dagsland, Sarah-Ann Kvam and Ragnar Gundersen Koffeld. All three have long experience at Haavind, and will strengthen the firm professionally and market-wise within two of Haavind’s strong areas of expertise.
Sarah-Ann and Silje’s entry into the partner group will strengthen Haavind’s services in key areas related to the energy transformation and the green shift, including offshore wind, CCS and hydrogen projects. Ragnar will contribute to strengthening the firm’s position within M&A with his strong profile.
Managing Partner Preben Brecke is very pleased with the new additions to the partner group.
– It is particularly pleasing to promote lawyers from our own ranks who have contributed to our strong development. We experience a growing demand within offshore, industry and renewables, and both Sarah-Ann and Silje have over several years demonstrated a high level of expertise and ability to handle complex cases and disputes. They also have a very good understanding of the industry and commercial insight. Ragnar has extensive transaction experience, particularly within Private Equity and Capital Markets, and will contribute to further strengthen Haavind’s position within M&A, which is an increasingly important area for Haavind. Ragnar is highly skilled and has assisted in several complex transactions in recent years,” says Brecke.
He emphasises the importance of having younger partners who will make their mark on important industries and areas in the future.
Silje Bakkevig Dagsland has worked at Haavind since 2014. She is ranked among the five most promising talents in the Offshore and oil service category in Kapital’s annual lawyer survey.
Sarah-Ann Kvam joined Haavind in 2017, and is ranked as a Rising star within Offshore construction and shipbuilding in Legal 500.
Ragnar Gundersen Koffeld also joined in 2017, and is recognised as a Key lawyer in Legal 500 within Corporate M&A and Capital Markets.
