Haavind contributes to new book on food marketing in the European Economic Area
The new book «Advertising Food in Europe» is a handbook on national legal requirements for food marketing in the European Economic Area. The book presents the various national approaches on how food ought to be successfully marketed across the EU. It is intended as a practical guide, where each chapter covers one specific country. Haavind lawyers Marie Vaale-Hallberg and Nina Charlotte Lindbach have written the chapter on Norway.

Food law is practiced differently within and outside the EU. The book provides practical insights on important legal aspects to food advertising in different countries.
Marie specialises in intellectual property law, contracts and regulatory issues related to food production. She assists some of the largest Norwegian and international producers in the food and drink industry on issues related to contracts, protection of intellectual property and regulatory issues, such as assessment of labelling, new food, health and nutrition claims.
Marie holds lectures in Norway and abroad within her fields of expertise. She is a part of the network of lawyers known as the Food Lawyers Network, and has contributed as a writer to the European Food and Feed Law Review (EFFL) since 2012.
Nina specialises in intellectual property and media law.
