Haavind advised the Norwegian private equity fund Broodstock Capital Partners in the 51 % acquisition of the Danish company Billund Aquakulturservice. The founders of the company will hold the remaining 49 % stake. Signing took place before easter and closing is expected to take place in May.

Billund Aquakulturservice is a world leading provider of intensive recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). With Broodstock Capital Partners as the majority owner, the company is now ready to meet the growing demand for RAS.

The investment strategy of Broodstock Capital Partners is based on acquisitions of companies in the aquaculture market. This transaction is the second transaction, following the 70 % acquisition of Multi Pump Innovation – a Norwegian supplier of cleaning equipment primarily within aquaculture. Haavind has advised Broodstock in both investments.
