Rasmus is one of Norway’s leading trial advocates. He has extensive experience in dispute resolution at all levels. Rasmus is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of Norway and, over the past 20 years, has argued 18 cases before the Supreme Court.

Rasmus is particularly recognised for his work in arbitration, litigation, and dispute resolution in matters involving corporate and shareholder law issues and post-M&A disputes. He also regularly handles commercial disputes involving contract and tort law.

He has acted in a wide range of landmark and high-value cases before the ordinary courts, arbitral tribunals, and the EFTA Court. Notable matters in which he has appeared include the Maria case before the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court case concerning venue in cartel damages litigation (Posten), and a state aid matter before the EFTA Court.

The Legal 500 ranked Rasmus as a Key Lawyer in Dispute Resolution (2025). Chambers & Partners (2025) ranked Rasmus as a leading expert in Dispute Resolution (Band 2).
