Odd-Harald Berg Wasenden specialises in renewable energy and climate law, and is recognised as one of Norway’s leading lawyers in the field. He holds a doctorate in law from the University of Oslo with the thesis “Energy Market Law” and has more than 25 years of experience specialising in renewable energy. Odd-Harald combines his work as a lawyer with a position as associate professor at BI Norwegian Business School, where he researches and teaches energy law, climate law, EU/EEA law, contract law and administrative law.
Odd-Harald assists Norwegian and international players in a wide range of energy-related matters, including contractual matters, regulatory issues and contact with authorities, transactions and disputes. He also has extensive experience from the energy sector through his work as an in-house lawyer, with particular emphasis on regulatory framework conditions, market design and processes at national and European level.
