Mikkel Skovdal Hach is a senior lawyer with the Technology, Media and IPR team at Advokatfirmaet Haavind.

Mikkel has extensive experience with ICT law, IT agreements, and commercialisation of IT. His expertise includes strategic consulting, contract negotiations and dispute resolution in these areas. He has specialised in complex transactions with a main focus in IT, e.g. system acquisition, management and outsourcing.

Mikkel also assists clients in meeting compliance requirements related to all types of IT contracts. This includes sector-independent requirements for privacy (such as the GDPR) and security (such as NIS1 and NIS2), as well as industry-specific requirements relevant to IT and outsourcing contracts, such as specific requirements in the financial, health and energy sectors.

He also assists with the assessment and handling of IT-related and rights-bearing contracts as well as questions about privacy in transactions.

In addition, Mikkel advises on regulatory matters relating to companies’ online presence, including e-commerce, digital services, data analysis and marketing.

Mikkel has experience both as an advisor on the customer side and as an in-house lawyer on the supplier side in the IT industry.

He was recognised as a “rising star” in the Information Technology category in the Danish edition of Legal 500 in 2020.
