Haavind has assisted Equinor Ventures and Sumitomo Corporation investing in Earth Science Analytics AS
Equinor’s venture fund, Equinor Ventures AS, Wintershall Dea GmhB and Sumitomo Corporation have invested in the Bergen og Stavanger-based company Earth Science Analytics AS. Earth Science Analytics develops software built on artificial intelligence and machine learning which can be used in the search for oil- og gas resources. Saudi Aramco is already a shareholder in the company.

Haavind assisted Equinor Ventures and Sumitomo Corporation with due diligence of the company in addition to negotiation of the investment agreement and the shareholders agreement on behalf of Equinor Ventures.
This is the third time in a year Haavind has assisted Equinor Ventures investing in start-up tech companies. The last 12 months Equinor Ventures has invested in Intelligent Mud Solutions AS and WaterLinked AS with aid from Haavind.
