Haavind advisor to Chassix in connection with acquisition of business from Benteler Automotive Farsund AS.

Haavind is assisting Chassix, Inc. with the acquisition of Benteler Automotive Farsund’s lightweight aluminum low pressure automotive casting business.

The Benteler Automotive Farsund’s casting business is known for its innovative products of high quality and employs approximately 275.

Chassix Inc., a leading global, vertically integrated manufacturer of aluminum and iron cast and machined automotive components, had sales of $1.2 billion in 2016, operates 23 manufacturing facilities and 4 technical centers in 7 countries and employs over 4 000.

Haavind assisted Chassix Inc., with the acquisition. An asset purchase agreement has been entered into, and closing will take place once the relevant closing conditions have been met.
