Sten specialises in employment and EEA matters.
He has extensive experience related to restructuring/downsizing, transfer of undertaking/outsourcing, handling of personnel matters, working hours and working environment issues, whistleblowing, investigation, civil servants law, protection of privacy and international employment law.
Sten is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court.
Sten is ranked in employment in Legal 500, Chambers and Who’s Who Legal. He is a board member of the Norwegian Labour Law Association, Norway’s Board member to the European Employment Lawyer’s Association (EELA) and has been a member of a reference group in the Ministry of Labour, assessing the rules on whistleblowing.
Sten is a board member of the Norwegian Labor Law Association and a Norwegian board member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA). In 2013-2014 he was member of a group set up by the Ministry of Labor to assess the notification rules in the Working Environment Act (2013-2014).
Sten gives excellent legal advice, and is commercially minded and a solid negotiator.
