According to today&#8217;s press release from the Ministry the announcement will be made as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aid will be granted in the form of a direct grant. Details of the model will be announced in the call for tenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ESA recognizes that floating offshore wind technology serves an important role in increasing the global production of renewable energy and reducing global emissions. Furthermore, ESA acknowledges Norway&#8217;s advantageous position to produce energy from offshore wind, predominantly through floating technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The industry stakeholders are optimistic about this development and eagerly await the announcement of the tender.
