2. MARKETING, PROFESSIONAL FORUMS AND USE OF THE WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2.1 Purpose and use<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Haavind regularly sends newsletters and event invitations by email to contact persons at our existing clients, meaning clients we have assisted with legal assignments during the past five years, as well as to others who have expressly requested to receive such communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For mailings to contact persons at existing clients, our basis for processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests, as we have a legitimate interest in providing clients with legal updates and relevant information about our services, cf. Section 15(3) of the Marketing Control Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For mailings to other persons, our basis for processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(a) consent, cf. Section 15(1) of the Marketing Control Act. All recipients of our mailings can easily unsubscribe by using the link included in each email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
