Nicolai heads the communications and marketing department at Haavind, and is a member of the company’s management team.

He is responsible for Haavind’s communication and marketing strategy. The areas of responsibility include internal and external communication, social media, events and seminars, and sales and marketing work both nationally and internationally.

Nicolai has 15 years of experience as a journalist and worked for the last nine of them at Aftenposten as a journalist and manager. He was then head of communications at NHO for five years, where he had operational responsibility for the organisation’s communications department. Among the tasks at NHO was responsibility for the media strategy around the central collective bargaining agreements in the private sector. He has solid experience with crisis communication and a broad network in Media Norway. Nicolai is educated in political science and European politics at the University of Oslo and in France.
